In 2010, we founded Mobile Viewpoint. It quickly grew into a global leader in broadcasting solutions. Headquartered in Alkmaar and with offices in Dubai and Mexico City, its success led to its acquisition by Vislink in 2021.

Mobile Viewpoint was a global innovator in mobile live streaming solutions and AI-based technologies. The live-streaming provider served news teams, sports production, TV production companies, outside broadcast facilities, security and public safety agencies.

Mobile Viewpoint offered portable and fixed encoding devices that enable fast and reliable video contribution with just a click of a button. Together with the LinkMatrix web platform, users could publish a video feed directly to Facebook and Youtube simultaneously.

As pioneers in live streaming and video contribution solutions for outside broadcast, remote productions and mobile surveillance, Mobile Viewpoint stood out for its technological innovation and customer support.

With a range of feature-rich encoders that were all remotely manageable via the web-based LinkMatrix portal , live events could be monitored, edited and configured. Streams were published to any online destination or pushed to an external decoder at the receiving location, supporting a wide range of SDI and IP broadcast workflows.

AI video production over 5G

With over 10 years of broadcast experience, Mobile Viewpoint continuously developed its family of WMT mobile encoders for live streaming over bonded 4G and 5G, establishing its position as a world leader in AI solutions for automated news, studio, and sports productions.

Through its subsidiary brand, IQ Video Solutions, Mobile Viewpoint focused on Artificial Intelligence for (live) video production. This technology enabled completely unmanned sports and news production by live streaming, recording, and generating highlights and summaries through the power of algorithms. The technology reduced the costs and resources normally required for live streaming.

Becoming Vislink

On August 16, 2021, Mobile Viewpoint was successfully sold to Vislink Technologies, Inc. (“Vislink”), a global technology leader in the capture, delivery and management of high quality, live video and associated data. The acquisition enhanced Vislink's ability to deliver on its strategic vision of offering a industry-leading portfolio of live video acquisition, contribution, and distribution solutions.
